Six things to acknowledge.

Fighting Chance is in early access. By signing up, you are joining a test cohort for an unfinished product. Before you can create an account, we need you to explicitly acknowledge six specific things about what that means. Each tick is recorded against your sign-up with a timestamp.

Fighting Chance provides legal information and document preparation assistance. The final legal advice on my matter will come from an admitted attorney, not from this product. If I need advice now, I will speak to an attorney directly.

The product has not been reviewed by an attorney end-to-end.

The 8-stage guided process was designed by a non-lawyer. An attorney review is in progress but not yet complete. Outputs may contain errors a practitioner would catch. I will not rely on any Fighting Chance output without independent verification before using it in a filing or correspondence.

The accrual calculator and cited authorities have known gaps.

The accrual calculator does not yet adjust commencement values for CPI. Some authorities cited in the Synthesis agent are illustrative demonstration data, not dynamically retrieved. I will not rely on specific figures or citations as definitive.

Compliance scaffolding is still being built.

Fighting Chance is not yet a registered legal entity, has not yet registered its POPIA Information Officer, and does not yet carry professional indemnity insurance. These are in progress. The Terms of Service I am agreeing to bind the founder personally until the entity is registered.

Support is informal.

Support is a single email address that reaches the founder. Response times vary. If my matter is urgent, Fighting Chance is not the appropriate place to seek urgent help. If I am in crisis or facing urgent deadlines, I will use the emergency resources listed on the beta page, not Fighting Chance support.

Your acknowledgments are recorded with a timestamp and stored as part of your account record. You can review them at any time under Settings → Account.
